...driving for life!
Pre-test Lessons
Please note that early booking is advisable particularly for evening or weekend lessons as the number of tests being conducted has increased enormously in recent weeks. Please email or text rather than call. EMail info@howthsutton.com or text 087 2671066 and mention date and location of test.
The purpose of the driving test is to establish that you know the rules of the road, and that you have the knowledge and skill to drive within these rules competently and safely. It also seeks to establish if you can drive safely and with regard for other drivers, cyclists and pedestrians.
You need to study carefully the new Rules of the Road booklet, as well as, hopefully, commissioning Howth Sutton School of Motoring to give you expert tuition. You will need to get as much driving practice as possible under your belt in all driving conditions and road types.
We would usually recommend at least three pre-test lessons.
- The first to familiarise you with the test proceedure, to assess your driving and work on the deficiencies.
- The second to continue the work of the first lesson and also conduct a mock test and assess progress.
- Finally, the third to perfect your preparation for the test.
